About
The Paltò project was created by the Paganelli family, co-founder and, until some years ago, responsible for the success of the brand Peuterey, a company which has become known worldwide for its elegant sportswear. In 2013 comes the decision to conclude the experience with “feathers,” while remaining in the fashion industry to give birth to a new ambitious and exciting project grounded on Made in Italy values with regard to both production processes and materials.
The challenge aims at bringing up to date the overcoat and at launching a new concept, that of “Paltò.” And that is how a new line of coats blending both traditional and cutting-edge elements takes shape; products designed both for men and women, appropriate for every setting, far from rigorous formal patterns, and combining the unique practicality of Italian materials and an old-time taste for elegance.
Paltò is positioning itself in the market as the Coat Factory. The objective of the project, as well as its essence, is the rediscovery of the values underlying the Italian style of dressing, whose main symbols are tradition, elegance and exclusiveness. Paltò revisits the core elements of the most genuine Italian spirit: style, sartorial skills, excellent materials, and hand-made details, updated and personalized according to the features and the demands of today’s society.
Paltò was born from the accurate study of the “garment,” of its history, construction, and use, interpreting its characteristics and its specific elements according to the world of today’s fashion trends, where Made in Italy standards, as well as its fabrics and materials, are significant and timeless features which, like taste and style, have no half measures.
